March 14. I was reminded today (Thank you Barb)!, that I had forgotten to blog last week. OOps.. I did recover from the root canal. It took all week, and my face is back to normal now. It was a rough ride. I did lose weight that week though because all I could eat was chicken broth, so after 4 days of that, the pounds just came right off! Only 3, but I'll take it!
I'm still motivated. I'm working out every day faithfully, and the meals have gotten easier as far as the portion control goes.
I"m still in my "fat pants" though. Someone once told me that you can gain anywhere from 15-20 lbs. per pant size. That's true. I hadn't weighed myself in years. I always went by the pants. My pants still fit, then I'm ok. Only I didn't realize that, eventually the pants had started to get snug, so then I washed them in COLD water, that lasted a little longer. Then they would start to get snug again, so I turned down the heat on the dryer, because it was shrinking my clothes, and that bought me more time still. Until finally, they were almost too tight, then I would line dry them. That also worked. Until, one day, I could just barely button them. Then at this point I'm despererate for clothes, so I go to the store, get some pants to try on, in my size, and the stupid manufacturer changed their sizes, and they don't fit anymore. So now, I'm in the next size bigger. I"ve done that a few times over the years, and now 50 lbs. later, and even after losing almost 15 lbs, my fat pants still fit me. They are getting lose, but I still can't go down the next size.
So my suggestion to you is; WEIGH YOURSELF EVERY FEW DAYS!!! Trust me, this will keep you honest with your weight, if you gain a pound or two, that would be soooooo much easier to lose, then 50 lbs. Trust me on this one... Keep up the good work everyone!! We can do this!!!!
